ABsolute™ qPCR Mixes
Nucleic Acid Reagents qPCR/RT-qPCR Enzymes and Kits
ABsolute™ qPCR Mixes contain all the components necessary to perform quantitative PCR, with the exception of template and primers. Versions are available for use with probes or with SYBR® Green I included, and with or without ROX or Fluorescein passive reference dyes.

ABsolute™ qPCR Mixes
ABsolute™ qPCR Mixes give defined and consistent end-point readings as well as maximum sensitivity. These mixes are therefore the superior choice for qPCR applications that use hybridisation probes:
Enhanced and reproducible end-point values are ideal for SNP analysis
Maximum sensitivity due to the optimised buffer, which allows detection of single copy templates
Robust enough to generate reproducible results from difficult templates such as plant DNA and GC-rich templates
Mixes contain Thermo-Start® DNA Polymerase, which remains completely inactive until fully activated by a 15 minute step at 95 °C, thus ensuring maximum specificity

ABsolute™ qPCR SYBR® Green Mixes
ABsolute™ qPCR SYBR® Green Mixes contain optimal levels of SYBR® Green I dye, in an optimised reaction buffer, to provide a high signal-to-background ratio, which ensures early detection of low copy targets:
High signal-to-background ratio ensures clear detection of low copy number templates
Flexible mix with SYBR® Green and MgCl₂ levels optimised to work for a broad spectrum of templates, with an additional vial of MgCl₂ also provided to optimise reactions involving difficult templates
Mixes contain Thermo-Start® DNA Polymerase to minimise non-specific product formation
