Eppendorf ThermoMixer® F0.5 and F2.0 have been customised with a fixed block for 0,5 or 2,0 ml reaction vessels respectively. Units feature simple and intuitive operation using predefined temperature keys (37, 42, 56 and 95 °C). Both units are ideal for bacterial growth, enzymatic reactions and lysis reactions at 100 °C. Both models are suitable for denaturation of DNA, RNA and proteins, enzymatic reactions, transformation of bacteria strains and plasmids, labelling of nucleic acids and proteins and Proteinase K digestions of cells and tissues, for resuspending pellets, mixing protein quantification assays and ELISA assays.
